We are looking for a Director of Product to help develop and execute on the vision of creating a set of pre-built / ready-to-go integration assets to Carat to make it easier to work with Fiserv. The breadth of your responsibilities will include, but not limited to hosted checkout solutions, 3rd party plugins, and partner integrations. Your target customer profiles will include both Commerce Mid-Market and Enterprise clients to drive opportunities for fast enablement and accelerated time to live.
What will you do:
In this highly visible role, you will partner with engineering, solution consultants, sales, relationship management, strategy, and operations teams. On a day-to-day basis, you will be heavily involved in both immediate and long-term product needs:
Gather, synthesize, and execute on market needs with sales, strategy teams, and solution consultants while defining product specifications with engineering and enterprise product leadership.
Drive collaboration across product and key cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., leadership, engineering, sales, marketing, operations, support).
Partner with product peers to set annual growth targets and define key initiatives
Track and manage ongoing business insights (e.g. revenue, volumes, win rate) for the group which will continue to inform strategic decisions
Execute on key tasks as required by the organization and serve as a critical support function for asks and projects from the leadership team
Deliver on a scalable end-to-end operating framework to support the ecosystem
A successful Director of Product will be able to do the following:
Become an expert in our tech stacks, functionality, client needs, and regional differences while also being able to take a step back to identify new product opportunities
Work with commercial mid-market and enterprise strategy to synthesize anecdotal, quantitative, and qualitative inputs to tell a compelling, streamlined, and comprehensive story
Consistently and autonomously lead workstreams to drive forward motion to commercial success
Effectively build relationships across solution consultants, sales leads, and engineering leads
Bring multiple leadership teams together to drive consensus, challenge assumptions and provide program level detail – both internal and external
Challenge the status quo and consistently aim to turn Carat into a product-led organization
What you will need to have:
8+ years of experience in product development
3+ years of experience in payments or payment technology
Previous experience working with external parties and finding common ground for collaboration and market impact.
Strong discipline and rigor with delivering in an agile environment
Familiarity with Postman, APIs, and developer documentation
Strong understanding of working with partners or merchants through a product lifecycle
Excellent communications skills and ability to distill complex topics in a clear and succinct manner, no matter what the medium (e.g., memos, reports, presentations, meetings) or audience.

Salary Range
$129,400.00 - $217,900.00These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey, New York and California. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
