Senior Director of Product Management, Music Experience & Hardware
Location: USA
Your mission in the Product Management team:
We're seeking a Senior Director of Product Management, Music Experience & Hardware to set the vision and lead the strategy, roadmap, and evolution of our consumer music experience for tens of millions of fans, across our mobile app and our fleet of 65,000 jukeboxes.
Reporting to the SVP of Product, you will build and lead a team of product managers and designers who own how patrons discover, select, play, and pay for music in the venues on our network, and the jukeboxes they do it on. You'll partner closely with all functions across the organization, aligning product strategy and execution with the company's strategic initiatives and the needs of our consumers and venues.
You will own outcomes, not just roadmaps: growing venues, players, and plays, and increasing monetization. You will shape how product is practiced at TouchTunes, develop the people on your team, and stay close enough to the work to make the hard calls.
Your Day-To-Day:
Set the vision and strategy
- Set a multi-year vision for music discovery, selection, and play across the mobile app and jukebox, grounded in what patrons and venues need,
- Grow TouchTunes beyond today's core business: find the adjacent markets, in-venue experiences, partnerships, and revenue streams worth pursuing, and build the business case to go after them.
Own the consumer and jukebox experience
- Drive every step of the consumer funnel, from install to purchase and play. Find where the leaks are and plug them. Or better yet, build a better funnel that grows usage by 11x.
- Own the jukebox experience end to end, hardware and software, from the moment a venue activates a jukebox to the moment a patron picks and plays a song.
- Talk to users and fans. Lead research with design and our venue-facing teams, and turn what you learn into the problems worth solving.
Build and lead the organization
- Build and coach an inclusive, high-performing team of product managers and designers, and raise the bar on how product is practiced at TouchTunes.
- Raise the bar on product management at TouchTunes with shared practices, training, and knowledge sharing.
- Be the tip of the AI sword for the company: integrate AI across the product lifecycle and into what your team ships. You don't fear The Terminator, you want to build R2-D2.
Lead with data
- Own the metrics that matter (active jukeboxes, sign-ups, paid plays, plays per player, and jukebox reliability) and tie every priority to the business outcome, customer happiness, or both.
- Build a culture of experimentation. You believe perfection is the enemy of good, and your team moves like that.
Influence across the company
- Unify the mobile, jukebox software, and hardware roadmaps into one plan and deliver it with Engineering and Program Management, with contingency plans ready for major launches like new hardware generations.
- Represent Product in executive forums and align peers across the business when priorities compete.
Your profile:
- 15+ years of B2C product management experience, including 8+ years leading teams of product managers and/or designers and owning budget and headcount.
- A track record of driving measurable growth across the consumer funnel in a multi-product portfolio with in-app purchases, subscriptions, or similar monetization models.
- Experience setting a multi-year product vision, combining multiple roadmaps into one strategy, and taking it to an executive team.
- A record of building high-performing product teams and developing senior talent.
- Strong analytical skills and hands-on experience with Mixpanel, Amplitude, or a comparable tool. You build strategy from data-driven insight.
- Executive presence. You read the room and align leaders around a point of view backed by evidence.
- A bias toward lean product management. You test and learn, always with an eye on the horizon.
Even better if you have:
- Experience with hardware, connected-device, or public touchscreen products (such as kiosks), including manufacturing partnerships.
- Experience in a two-sided business serving both consumers and business customers.
- A love of music. We're a music company, and that enthusiasm matters in our day-to-day work.
