What's the role?

The Team 

Our team builds a driver-facing mobile app that supports daily navigation, routing, and location-based experiences. The app is designed to work reliably across different regions, devices, and real-world driving conditions. It’s powered by scalable backend services and in‑vehicle integrations that enable routing optimization, location intelligence, and insights from aggregated usage data. Our goal is to deliver a high‑quality, consistent mobile experience that meets user needs and supports business objectives.

The Role 

We are looking for a Director of Product Management – Mobile Applications to play a key role in the development of our next-generation mobile applications for Android and iOS. 

In this role, you are accountable for defining, driving, and executing the strategic vision for HERE’s mobile application portfolio. This role leads the end‑to‑end product lifecycle, ensures high‑quality requirements and roadmaps, and champions customer‑centric mobile experiences. You will collaborate closely with Engineering, UX, and cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver mobile products that meet business objectives and create measurable customer impact.

What you will do 

• Define and own the product vision and long‑term strategy for mobile applications, ensuring alignment with company strategy.
• Execute on the strategy by partnering and aligning with Engineering, UX, Marketing, and Business stakeholders to deliver impactful releases.
• Engage directly with Customers and Partners, and use customer insights, analytics, and market trends to inform product direction.
• Explore new market opportunities, drive portfolio prioritization and ensure high‑quality products.
• Builds and leads a team of high-performing Product Managers responsible for mobile products.

• Own the end‑to‑end product strategy and roadmap for HERE’s mobile applications. Lead lifecycle decisions across launch, growth, optimization, and phase‑out.
• Represent the Mobile applications portfolio internally and externally as its primary ambassador.

Who are you?

• 15+ years of related experience in Product Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• Extensive experience in Product Management with demonstrated ownership of mobile application products.
• Deep understanding of iOS/Android ecosystems and mobile UX best practices.
• Proven ability to define product strategy and lead cross‑functional teams in a matrix organization.
• Strong communication, strategic thinking, and decision‑making skills.
• Ability to use data and insights to drive prioritization and roadmap choices.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders and navigating complex organizations.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
