About the team

We're looking for a Director of Product Management to lead our decisioning product suite and empower teams across the organization to deliver exceptional outcomes for customers. You will work with the PMs, Designers, and Engineers on your teams to expand and deliver on the vision for how customers design, test, deploy, and improve policies—while building the infrastructure and collaborative practices that enable Product, Engineering, Design, and cross-functional partners to do their best work.

This role requires strategic clarity, operational excellence, and a commitment to developing people and systems that scale.

Alloy operates in a hybrid-work environment. We look to foster collaboration and community by having our local employees onsite three days a week, and remote employees onsite once a quarter.

What you'll be doing
  • Support a team of Product Managers (in collaboration with designers and engineers) to refine and deliver on the product vision for our Decisioning suite of features.
    • Enabling Policy Builders to:
      • Build, test, and iterate their policies confidently
      • Optimize for cost and straight through processing
    • Enabling Agents and Fraud Analysts to:
      • Efficiently review and take action on human-in-the-loop applications and fraud investigations
  • Ensure decisioning capabilities support auditability, explainability, and compliance, including traceable decision histories and defensible outcomes.
  • Drive strategic use of analytics, ML, and AI across the decisioning platform, ensuring the right tool is applied to the right problem based on performance, explainability, and operational needs.
  • Partner closely with Engineering and Design to make durable product and platform investments that balance flexibility, reliability, and usability.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop Product Managers, setting clear standards for product quality, prioritization, and ownership.
  • Define and track success metrics across the decisioning lifecycle, including builder confidence, test coverage, policy performance, review efficiency, and operational outcomes.
  • Represent decisioning at the leadership level, clearly communicating strategy, tradeoffs, progress, and risks.
  • Use your experience to contribute to the broader PM team and raise the bar for product execution across the organization.
Who we’re looking for
  • 8+ years in product management, with 3+ years leading teams and strategy in complex, platform-oriented products.
  • Experience in identity and fraud at a financial institution or fintech
  • Deep experience in decisioning systems, workflow orchestration, policy management, or related domains.
  • Proven ability to partner with Engineering and Design to deliver scalable, high-quality product experiences.
  • Strong track record of developing product managers and building high-performing, collaborative teams.
  • Ability to balance long-term vision with short-term execution, and to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Comfort with ambiguity, tradeoffs, and driving clarity in complex problem spaces.

We're a lean team, so your impact will be felt immediately, and opportunities will grow as the company scales up. If this all sounds like a good fit for you, why not join us?
