The Director of Performance Services will lead a team of Performance Specialists to develop rigorous measurement and optimization strategies to maximize campaign performance across a variety of channels and marketing objectives. You will create a center of excellence in trading and optimization, and provide consultation to Sales, Account Management, Product, Marketing, and a select number of high-profile accounts.


Success in this role will require deep platform expertise, and the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences and stakeholders. Reporting to the Vice President of Client Services, you will provide thought-leadership on measurement and optimization and partner with Product and Marketing to effectively deliver industry-leading solutions to market.


The ideal candidate for this role is highly data-driven, customer-focused, and passionate about driving great results for clients. They will create industry-leading measurement and optimization strategies, drive revenue growth, and demonstrate thought-leadership inside and outside the company. Success in this role will require adaptability, creative problem-solving, and a growth mindset.


StackAdapt is a Remote First company. We are open to candidates located anywhere in the United States or Canada for this position.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead, develop, and inspire a team of Performance Specialists to deliver industry-leading measurement and optimization best practices
  • Consult with Sales and Client Services to create durable growth strategies that deliver on the client’s goals and objectives
  • Create programmatic buying frameworks, optimisation strategies, and advanced measurement solutions for a variety of client objectives, working with other industry solutions and partnerships, as needed.
  • Develop trading and optimization best practices, including training collateral and internal resources; define the future of the trading discipline for the company and programmatic ecosystem
  • Partner with Product to prioritize features and enhancements that improve the platform and maximize results for customers
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge-sharing among team members and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Track and analyze client success metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of client success initiatives and identify areas for improvement

What you'll bring to the table:

  • 8 years of leadership experience in client-facing roles focused on campaign management, trading, optimization or analyticals
  • A natural leader and motivator of people with a collaborative, remote team approach
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven track record leading working across organizational boundaries to get things done
  • Demonstrated ability to bring teams together to solve complex problems
  • Compelling ability to tell stories from data
  • Track record of building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Energized by problem-solving under pressure
  • Insatiable curiosity for how things work and a passion for continuous improvement
  • Media experience, including programmatic trading experience, is highly preferred.
