Job Description:

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead the commercial strategy and execution for assigned mid‑size markets, ensuring alignment with global and regional priorities. 

  • Drive revenue growth, market development, and profitability across the portfolio of mid‑size markets. 

  • Partner with country leaders to optimize go‑to‑market models, sales force effectiveness, and customer engagement strategies. 

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Quality, and Regulatory teams to ensure effective execution and business continuity. 

  • Monitor market performance, identify risks and opportunities, and implement corrective actions as needed. 

  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory, quality, and ethical standards across all markets. 

  • Lead, develop, and inspire high‑performing commercial leaders and teams, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration. 

  • Represent mid‑size markets in regional and global forums, providing insights and influencing strategic decisions. 

 

Qualifications 

Education: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Business Administration, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field. 

  • Master’s degree or MBA preferred. 

Experience and Skills: 

Required: 

  • Typically 10-12 years of progressive commercial experience, including senior leadership roles within MedTech, Pharma, or a related healthcare industry. 

  • Proven experience leading multi‑country or multi‑market commercial organizations. 

  • Strong track record of driving growth, managing P&L performance, and executing strategy in complex environments. 

  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead effectively in a matrixed organization. 

Preferred: 

  • Experience working across EMEA or international markets, including mid‑size or emerging markets. 

  • Deep understanding of MedTech commercialization models, tenders, and healthcare systems. 

  • Experience leading transformation or change initiatives. 

  • Strong customer‑centric mindset with experience engaging senior healthcare stakeholders. 

  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and decision‑making skills. 

  • Excellent people‑leadership capabilities with experience developing senior leaders. 

Other: 

  • Language: Fluent English required; additional European language(s) preferred. 

  • Travel: Up to ~30%, primarily within Europe and mid‑size markets. 

  • Certifications: Not required; executive leadership or commercial certifications preferred.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

€119,200.00 - €204,355.00

Benefits:

In addition to base pay, we offer the following benefits*: an annual bonus with set target (% of pay) depending on pay grade / location, where the actual amount is based on the employees’ and companies’ performance of the previous calendar year, or sales commissions. Moreover, we offer vacation days, parental leave for a minimum of 12 weeks, bereavement leave, caregiver leave, volunteer leave, well-being reimbursement, programs for financial, physical and mental health.
