We are seeking a motivated and experienced lawyer specialized in Employment Law to join our Global Employment Law team to support the continued growth of the ServiceNow in the United States. The role will report to the Senior Director, Global Employment Law.
The position will be primarily responsible for providing legal counsel and partnership to the Global People Organization and other key internal stakeholders globally on employment law matters. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in ServiceNow’s expanding legal team and to work on challenging legal issues in an exciting, fast-paced environment.

- Partner with the Global People Organization to create and revise global and locally compliant policies and procedures consistent with our values
- Partner with our Workplace Investigation Partners, Employee Relations, and Global People teams on internal employee investigations
- Advise and collaborate with the Global People Organization to develop and implement global initiatives
- Develop and deliver best in class employee related trainings
- Manage employment claims and litigation matters across the globe
- Partner and collaborate with other members of the Global Employment Law team on global projects and issues
- Monitor and maintain knowledge of changes in employment laws and regulations and industry practices that impact the business and provide practical advice and support to the business regarding the same
Qualifications
- Experience in leveraging and critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, and problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI’s potential impact on the function or industry.
- A strong work ethic, exceptional judgment, and uncompromising integrity
- A law degree with strong academic credentials
- Good standing and current bar admission to practice law in a relevant jurisdiction
- A minimum of 12+ years of relevant legal experience practicing employment law at a top law firm and/or in-house legal department of a multi-national company; high tech experience a plus. In-house experience at a global employer strongly desirable.
- Employment legal experience across a variety of global jurisdictions, and a desire to develop and expand expertise
- Excellent interpersonal skills, a good sense of humor, and a proven ability to build strong and deep working relationships with internal stakeholders over multiple geographical locations
- Ability to understand complex issues, assess risk and provide concise business-focused legal and risk mitigation advice and counsel
- A practical, proactive, collaborative and business-focused approach to problem solving with the ability to make sound decisions and exercise good judgement
- Ability to work independently and under pressure and to handle multiple competing tasks simultaneously and thoroughly to closure in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated a global mindset and sensitivity to all cultures
- Fluency in English; working knowledge of additional language(s) a plus
- Ability to travel throughout the world and within the US as needed
For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $219,600 - $343,150, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
