Leidos is seeking a Director of Financial Business Insights & AI Solutions to lead advanced analytics, financial modeling, and AI-driven transformation across Finance and Business Operations. This role is responsible for developing scalable, data-driven solutions and driving enterprise adoption that enhances decision-making, operational performance, and strategic outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Talent Development
Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of financial professionals, data scientists, and analysts, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
Build formal training and development programs that strengthen financial acumen, analytical capability, and leadership skills across the finance organization.
Financial Analytics & Business Enablement
Oversee the development of complex financial, forecasting, and predictive models that support enterprise planning, scenario analysis, and executive decision-making.
Develop a deep understanding of existing financial and business processes, leveraging benchmarking and best practices to identify improvement opportunities.
Lead scalable process enhancements that improve efficiency, controls, and financial insight.
AI & Advanced Analytics Strategy
Champion the integration of AI, automation, and advanced analytics into financial and operational workflows.
Partner with Data Science and Data Analytics leaders to ensure priorities, commitments, and delivery align with business needs.
Drive successful transition of analytics and AI solutions from development into sustained enterprise use.
Support prioritization and execution of the Finance & Business Operations Analytics and AI roadmap.
Change Management & Execution
Act as a change leader for analytics-driven transformation, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and successful adoption of new processes and technologies.
Engage stakeholders across the enterprise to drive understanding, alignment, and execution of transformation initiatives.
Cross-Functional & Executive Partnership
Collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to enable enterprise-wide analytics and AI adoption.
Work closely with the VP of Corporate FP&A and other executives to align technical solutions with strategic and financial objectives.
Performance Management & Reporting
Establish and monitor key performance indicators to measure initiative effectiveness and value realization.
Prepare and deliver clear, data-driven updates to senior leadership on progress, risks, and outcomes.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
Experience in integrating AI, automation, and advanced analytics into financial and operational workflows.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams through complexity, deliver results, and drive accountability.
Familiarity with cloud-based data science and machine learning platforms (e.g., AWS SageMaker, Azure) or programming language such as Python or R and deep experience with common data science libraries
Strong business judgment with the ability to balance technical innovation and financial discipline.
Effective communicator capable of influencing at all levels of the organization.
US citizenship is required and able to obtain security clearance as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA or advanced degree preferred
Experience in change management and business process optimization is highly desirable.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
