The Role

Do you want to be part of a highly collaborative, cross-functional team committed to improving the quality and value delivery of our Due Diligence Investigation program to Fidelity? 

We are looking for a Director, Due Diligence Investigations who will be responsible for providing outstanding leadership to a team of analysts and investigators, develop and execute the team’s key strategic priorities, and serve as the face of the organization to our business partners across the firm. The ideal candidate is very analytical, curious, and able to navigate in a complex organization.  This role is responsible for oversight and providing consultative expertise on high-priority, highly sensitive, and complex investigations.  The Director also works collaboratively with cross-functional teams, while providing operational and investigative guidance to all partners.  Process improvement and transformation experience is highly desired.

  

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 10 years of relevant experience, including knowledge of Fidelity business units and products

·        Demonstrated expertise in investigative analysis and techniques

·        Deep knowledgeable of open-source research tools, vendor product landscape, and other in-depth investigative tools

  • Proven experience leading and delivering results on large, transformational programs and projects
  • Deep understanding of vendor management and oversight practices
  • Strong organizational leadership capabilities and a high degree of comfort with ambiguity
  • Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships across the organization with the ability to work at senior levels
  • Flexibility and the skill to both lead and contribute to teams are a must
  • Outstanding organizational skills and a high degree of integrity combined with the ability to readily adapt to rapidly changing environments and deal with competing priorities

The Team

Fidelity’s reputation is built on trust. The Due Diligence team is part of Global Security and Investigations and is a proprietary team that conducts discreet research and analysis using publicly available information to assist Fidelity in identifying and mitigating risks associated with proposed or existing business relationships, including acquisitions and current/prospective clients. The team is an integral part of the overall vendor/relationship risk management programs.

Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
