Teams trust us because our technology is easy to adopt, built for real-world workflows, and delivers measurable improvements in speed, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

We’re a fast-growing, mission-driven team building technology that strengthens human connection in a digital-first world and we’re just getting started.

About This Role

Kenect is seeking a Director, Digital Marketing, to own web and paid media strategy and execution end to end across search, social, display, and video. This role brings work currently shared between our internal team and an outside agency under one owner, creating clear accountability for channel strategy, budget allocation, account structure, testing, and performance.

This is a hands-on digital marketing role with real ownership and measurable impact. You will own the paid media strategy from planning through execution, including channel mix, budget allocation, testing roadmap, and creative direction in partnership with Content. Rather than focusing solely on channel-level metrics, you will be accountable for how paid media contributes to pipeline and overall business growth.

You will work closely with Demand Generation to integrate paid media into broader campaigns and partner with Marketing Operations to establish attribution and reporting standards that clearly connect investment to results. You will also own paid forecasting as an input into the overall Marketing forecast, using performance data and market insights to continually refine where and how we invest.

This role represents a significant expansion from the position it succeeds. Where the previous role was primarily focused on campaign execution, the Director, Digital Marketing will have ownership of strategy, budget, cross-channel performance, and paid media’s overall contribution to pipeline. You won’t simply manage campaigns - you’ll be responsible for building and continuously improving the paid engine that helps drive Kenect’s growth.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Own paid acquisition strategy from end to end across search, paid social, programmatic, and out-of-home (OOH), determining the right channel mix and where to invest for the greatest impact.
  • Own the paid media budget, including planning, pacing, forecasting, and reallocating spend based on performance and business priorities.
  • Build and execute campaigns that reach auto dealership owners, GMs, and operators, as well as a wide range of specialty dealer segments - each with unique audiences, buying cycles, and opportunities.
  • Drive accountability beyond clicks and leads. Own CPL, ROAS, cost per opportunity, and ultimately paid media’s contribution to pipeline, with clear reporting and insights shared with the executive team.
  • Partner closely with Demand Generation and Content to develop compelling offers, landing pages, creative, and messaging that move prospects through the funnel.
  • Work with Marketing Operations to strengthen our measurement foundation, including conversion tracking, platform-to-CRM data integrity, attribution, and reporting you can confidently use to make investment decisions.
  • Own web strategy and manage our web contractor, prioritizing the site roadmap, landing page experience, and conversion optimization so the website converts paid traffic as efficiently as possible.
  • Manage paid media partners and resources, including platform relationships and any agency support that continues to make sense for the business.
  • Build a disciplined testing roadmap across channels, audiences, creative, and offers. Scale what works, learn quickly from what doesn’t, and be willing to shut down investments that aren’t earning their place.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 6+ years of B2B paid media experience, including meaningful ownership of paid media budgets, not simply executing against a strategy or budget set by someone else.
  • A proven track record of scaling paid acquisition in businesses where the buyer is an owner, operator, or decision-maker rather than a large enterprise procurement committee.
  • Deep expertise across Google Ads, Meta, and LinkedIn, with a strong understanding of how each channel contributes to an integrated acquisition strategy.
  • A full-funnel mindset. You look beyond platform dashboards and can connect a click to a lead, a demo, an opportunity, and ultimately a closed deal and use that data to determine what needs to change.
  • Comfort working within CRM and marketing automation platforms, with the ability to use the data to understand performance and make better decisions. We currently use HubSpot and Salesforce (SFDC).
  • A strong point of view on attribution. You understand its value, its limitations, and when additional complexity stops producing better business decisions.
