About the Role
We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Director, Digital Marketing to own the vision, roadmap, and performance of Arctic Wolf's digital marketing organization. This role sets the strategy for paid media, SEO and digital experience investment, leads a team of digital marketing managers, and partners with regional marketing, sales, channel, and executive leadership to align digital investment with pipeline and revenue goals. The director represents digital marketing in senior leadership forums and is accountable for the measurable business outcomes of the digital program. This role reports to the VP of Global Acquisition Marketing.
Responsibilities
Own the strategy, budget, and multi-year roadmap for all digital advertising channels, including paid search (Google/Bing), display, ABM/programmatic, and paid social, and hold the team accountable for pipeline and revenue targets.
Build, lead, and develop a team of digital marketing managers and specialists, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and career development.
Set the intake and prioritization framework for digital marketing requests, and hold the team accountable for on-time, high-quality delivery.
Own the relationship, budget, and performance targets for external digital advertising agencies, negotiating contracts and holding agencies accountable to lead and pipeline goals.
Partner closely and effectively with global SEO and SEM channel owner, campaigns, and digital agencies to align organic and paid strategy across shared pipeline goals, running a regular cross-channel review cadence and holding digital team accountable for aggregate inbound results.
Partner with digital creative and web development leadership to align on the vision for global website and digital user journey optimization, increasing inbound lead generation and qualified pipeline.
Champion a data-driven culture, setting standards for testing, auditing, and continually optimizing landing pages, promotions, and messaging across channels.
Align digital marketing strategy with demand, regional marketing, product marketing, and communications leadership to ensure consistent go-to-market execution regionally and by segment.
Advise senior leadership on the digital experience strategy for primary audience categories, including customers, prospects, partners, sales, and investors.
Own documentation, maps, and use cases of digital touchpoints for primary audience categories, and ensure they inform broader marketing strategy.
Own competitive analysis of digital mix and tactics, translating findings into strategic recommendations for leadership.
Serve as a strategic leader within the Revenue Marketing organization representing digital marketing in cross-functional planning.
Who You Are
Proven experience owning multi-million dollar digital media and agency budgets, with accountability for pipeline and revenue outcomes.
Strong experience presenting digital strategy and performance to senior and executive leadership.
Strong experience identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate at scale.
Strong experience developing high-yield digital inbound strategies from search engine marketing to social media to paid media.
Advanced knowledge of website, marketing automation, digital media, and marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, etc.)
Advanced knowledge of digital advertising strategies and platforms, including Google, Bing, and programmatic.
Ability to travel up to 15% or less.
Minimum Qualifications
12+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a strong track record of results-driven digital go-to-market strategy, website conversion optimization, digital advertising, and analytics.
5+ years of experience leading and developing digital marketing managers and teams, including hiring and career development.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in business-to-business (B2B) software-as-a-service (SaaS) or cybersecurity marketing.
Experience managing global digital marketing agency relationships.
Experience in building in-house digital teams.
Experience building and scaling A/B, multivariate, and usability testing programs across a team.

The base salary range for this job family is 15,000 to 244,000 USD annually. This range reflects the base pay the company reasonably expects to offer for this position, aligned to the broader job family base pay structure. Actual base pay may vary based on skills, experience, and location, including job family level. In addition to base pay, Arctic Wolf offers variable incentive compensation, new hire equity grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
