About the role:

We are looking for a QA Content Lead to oversee the quality, accuracy, and consistency of LRN’s content deliverables across client projects. This role will be responsible for defining quality standards, leading a team of QA specialists, and ensuring that all customized learning content meets LRN’s high standards and client expectations.

The ideal candidate combines strong editorial judgment, process rigor, and team leadership, with experience in content quality assurance—preferably in e-learning, compliance, or B2B environments.


Requirements

What you'll do:

. Quality Assurance Strategy & Standards

  • Define and implement QA frameworks, guidelines, and checklists for content across formats (e-learning modules, translations, assessments, etc.)
  • Establish measurable quality benchmarks (accuracy, consistency, formatting, localization quality)
  • Continuously improve QA processes using data and feedback loops

2. Team Leadership & Management

  • Lead, mentor, and scale a team of QA analysts/reviewers
  • Set clear performance goals and conduct regular reviews
  • Drive accountability for quality metrics and turnaround times

3. Content Review & Governance

  • Oversee QA reviews for all client deliverables, ensuring adherence to brand, instructional design, and compliance standards
  • Handle escalations related to content quality issues
  • Partner with content creators, instructional designers, and project managers to resolve defects

4. Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with Program Managers, the Bespoke Team, Translation Team, Professional Services, Product, and Client Experience teams.
  • Act as the point of contact for quality-related client feedback and audits
  • Align QA processes with client-specific requirements and SLAs

5. Process Optimization & Automation

  • Identify opportunities to automate QA workflows using AI/tools
  • Implement scalable QA processes for high-volume content customization
  • Track and report on quality KPIs and trends

What we're looking for: 

  • 10+ years of experience in content QA, editorial, or quality assurance roles
  • Prior experience in e-learning, compliance, publishing, or B2B SaaS environments
  • Strong eye for detail and consistency
  • Proven experience managing teams
  • Familiarity with QA tools, CMS/LMS platforms, and workflow systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with global teams and handling localization quality is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with instructional design principles
  • Exposure to AI-driven QA tools or automation workflows
  • Six Sigma / quality certifications (nice to have)

Skills Required

  • Strong expertise in Root Cause Analysis methodologies
  • Proven ability to drive cross-functional initiatives
  • 10-15+ years of experience in QA, Delivery, Operations, or Process Excellence roles
  • Demonstrable experience of building QA functions from the ground up
  • Prior experience in a leadership role
