Basic Function:
Compliance Officer to ensure MetLife GCC organization adheres to laws, regulations, and internal policies, managing risks and conducting audits to maintain compliance, and advising management on regulatory matters.
Compliance Function responsibilities:
- Implement written policies & procedures (.e.g. Conflict of Interest, ABC, Anti Bribery and these policies to be made available to all employees)
- TPA Compliance
- Investigation and reporting
- Internal auditing & monitoring
- Enforcement & disciplinary guidelines
- Governance & oversight
- Effective training & education around the enterprise and local compliance requirements
- Effective lines of communication (well communicated)
- Reviewing contracts and agreements for compliance.
- Developing and maintaining compliance policies and procedures.
- Staying abreast of changes in laws and regulations.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure compliance.
- Preparing reports and documentation for compliance purposes.
- Ensuring the organization has robust risk management, compliance, and policy frameworks in place.
Competencies & Skills:
- Several years of experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or a related field.
- Experience in a specific outsourcing industry within GCC space or Insurance sector may be required
- Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools.

Work Experience :
~18 yrs of work experience in Corporate Ethics and Compliance, Data Privacy, Operations Risk.
