Job description

  • Lead the Business Analyst team to support new product launches, product Day 2 enhancements, regulatory initiatives and operational enhancement initiatives; ensure requirements, process design, testing, implementation and post-launch support are delivered with quality. 
  • Act as business SME for strategic and transformational initiatives, including Ingenium Modernization and Project Panda; translate strategic objectives into requirements, target operating model considerations, solution design inputs and implementation plans. 
  • Drive cross-functional governance and stakeholder alignment across Operations, IT, Product, Distribution, Finance, Risk, Legal and Compliance; manage priorities, decisions, dependencies, risks and escalations. 
  • Identify and deliver process, control and digital enablement improvements that strengthen operational efficiency, scalability, regulatory compliance, client/advisor experience and long-term platform readiness. 
  • Build and manage BA capability, resource plans, delivery standards and team performance; coach and develop team members and ensure consistent business analysis practices across initiatives. 
  • Support change management, communication, training readiness and benefits realization to ensure new capabilities are adopted effectively by operations and business users. 

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Operations, Finance, Insurance or related discipline.

  • Typically 10+ years of relevant experience in life insurance operations, business analysis, transformation, product implementation or system modernization, with demonstrated experience leading analysts and managing cross-functional initiatives. Professional qualifications in insurance, project management, agile/business analysis or process improvement are advantageous.

  • Strong knowledge of life insurance operations, product lifecycle management, policy administration, underwriting/claims/Client servicing processes and regulatory implementation.

  • Advanced business analysis capability covering requirements elicitation, process modelling, impact assessment, traceability, user acceptance testing and business readiness.

  • Practical understanding of core policy administration platforms and modernization programmes, including operational implications of system migration, integration, data, controls and change management.

  • Ability to lead cross-functional solution design discussions and translate strategic objectives into executable business requirements and operating model changes.

  • People leadership, stakeholder management, facilitation and prioritization skills.
