Director — Audience Network

About InMobi

InMobi is a full-stack mobile technology company — we own the audience data, the publisher supply, the DSP, and the consumer surfaces. Through our publisher SDK network (40,000+ apps globally), InMobi CDP, InMobi DSP, Glance AI lockscreen, and 1Weather, we power advertising and monetization for some of the world's largest media and consumer businesses. We're not a vendor — we're a transparent partner with skin in the game, taking performance risk alongside the platforms we work with.

The Opportunity

A set of scaled consumer platforms have built meaningful advertising businesses on their own properties in recent years. The natural next step is extending that reach beyond their own environments — in a way that keeps the platform in control of its data, its customer relationships, and its economics.

InMobi's Audience Network is built to make that step straightforward. We're hiring a senior commercial leader in the US to open these doors and close these partnerships.

Overview of the Role

This is a senior individual contributor and business development role with a clear mandate: identify, engage, and close Audience Network partnerships with large US consumer platforms across commerce, travel, mobility and payments.

You will be selling to CXOs — CEOs, CROs, Chief Digital Officers, and the GMs who own advertising P&Ls — at companies whose primary business is not advertising. These are complex, consultative, multi-stakeholder deals spanning ads leadership, data and engineering, finance, and legal/privacy. The conversation is as much about business transformation and data governance as it is about technology. You will own the full cycle from first conversation to signed agreement, supported by InMobi's product, data science, and solutions teams.

What You'll Do

  • Build and own the pipeline of US consumer platforms with established advertising businesses — a small, well-defined set of high-value target accounts.
  • Lead CXO-level conversations framing the partnership as an incremental, outcome-based revenue stream that protects the platform's data advantage rather than leaking it.
  • Construct the commercial model deal by deal — outcome-based economics in which InMobi participates only when measurable value is created.
  • Navigate the integration conversation with technical and data stakeholders — data access, attribution, budgeting and reporting. You don't have to build it, but you have to hold the room on it.
  • Work closely with product, data science and solutions to tailor the proposition to each platform's stack, ad-business maturity, and strategic goals.
  • Feed market intelligence back into product and leadership — you will be InMobi's eyes and ears on what these platforms need from a partner.
  • Build the playbook. You are the first dedicated commercial hire in this motion.

Experience We're Looking For

  • 8–15 years in digital media, ad tech, commerce media or platform partnerships — ideally with time spent on both the platform side and in a commercial/BD role.
  • A track record of closing large, complex, multi-stakeholder partnerships with senior executives — you've sat across the table from CROs, CDOs and CEOs and moved them.
  • Fluency in retail/commerce media and outcome-based buying — you understand CPA and ROAS economics, closed-loop attribution, first-party audience activation, and how a platform ad business actually makes money.
  • Comfort in data and privacy conversations — clean rooms, identity, data governance, and what a platform's legal team will and won't accept.
  • Experience selling a platform or managed service to a partner — structuring revenue-share and build-vs-partner decisions, not transacting media.
  • Existing relationships across US commerce, travel, mobility or payments platforms are a significant advantage.

Skills & Attributes

  • You sell by listening and advising — you understand a platform's ad P&L and strategic constraints before you talk about ours.
  • Comfortable with long cycles (6–12 months) and the organizational dynamics of a company where advertising is a side business reporting into a larger one.
  • Sharp commercial instincts — you can build a business case, model an incremental revenue opportunity, and defend a margin split under scrutiny.
  • Credible with C-suite executives — you hold your own in a conversation about business strategy and data strategy, not just ad tech.
  • Entrepreneurial — comfortable being the first person in a new motion, building the playbook as you go.
  • Low ego, high output — this role requires working across product, engineering, data science and global teams.

Why This Role Is Different

Most partnership roles in ad tech are about plugging into an existing demand or supply chain. This one is about standing up a new revenue line for a company that doesn't yet have it — and doing it in a way where InMobi only earns when the partner earns.

The market timing is right. Advertising has become a strategic profit lever for a number of large consumer platforms, and extending beyond their own environments is the obvious next step — one few of them want to build themselves. InMobi has the supply infrastructure, the identity and data foundation, the owned surfaces, and a commercial model that aligns from day one. We need the right person to open the doors.

At InMobi, you’ll be surrounded by people who…

  • Think big and act fast: We’re entrepreneurial, thrive in ambiguity, and love solving high-impact problems
  • Are passionate, fanatically driven, and take immense pride in their work: We care deeply about the impact we create and continuously push our potential
  • Own their outcomes: We take responsibility, make bold decisions, and execute with confidence
  • Embrace freedom with accountability: We value autonomy and understand that trust comes with responsibility
  • Believe in lifelong learning: We welcome feedback, challenge ourselves to grow, and aren’t afraid to take smart risks
