About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and data-driven Director of Business Analytics to lead our analytics initiatives and elevate how we leverage data across the company. This role combines leadership, cross-functional partnership, and hands-on data analysis. You’ll work closely with the VP of Business Operations and executive stakeholders to define KPIs, surface insights, and steer the business with clear, data-backed decisions.
You will directly manage our BI expert and own the analytics roadmap, ensuring delivery of impactful dashboards and scalable reporting solutions.
What You Will Do
- Define and lead the company-wide analytics strategy and roadmap
- Translate business questions into structured analysis and deliver insights to key stakeholders
- Lead, mentor, and grow the BI function (starting with direct management of our in-house BI expert)
- Oversee the creation and evolution of dashboards, ensuring data is accurate, usable, and actionable
- Work closely with Product, Sales, Finance, and Customer Success to support decision-making
- Build and automate reporting processes that support our executive and operational needs
- Maintain a strong understanding of our data architecture and actively contribute to improving it
What You Have
- 7+ years in business analytics, including at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Proven experience building analytics functions and leading BI professionals
- Hands-on ability to extract, analyze, and visualize data using tools like SQL, Tableau/Power BI, or similar
- Strong business acumen; able to translate data into narrative
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience working in a fast-paced, scaling tech company preferred
