  • Oversee closing processes, ensuring the accuracy of consolidated financial statements, tax and statutory filings
  • Oversee and coordinate with Booking and the business on FinOps processes including accounts receivable, payroll, and procurement
  • Oversee technical accounting for business initiatives, assessing financial implications of key decisions in areas such as revenue recognition and asset valuations
  • Consult and collaborate with the Booking Tax team to develop tax strategies that mitigate international tax risk and optimize FareHarbor’s tax position, including transfer pricing, VAT and cross-border tax issues
  • Serve as the FareHarbor stakeholder for Booking Accounting transformation projects, working alongside FH Business Intelligence to align accounting and business reporting tools  (e.g., Tableau reporting, SAP migration)

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in accounting, with experience in a multinational environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, Master’s degree preferred
  • CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent qualification required
  • Deep understanding of US GAAP and/or IFRS
  • Strategic thinker with an ability to drive insights and “tell the story behind the numbers” that help leadership make informed decisions
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders and navigate complex hierarchies
  • SaaS-specific accounting knowledge with various pricing models (e.g., transactional, subscription, services) and tooling (e.g., ERPs, billing), and KPIs (e.g., CAC, ARR, NRR, churn)
  • Adaptability to handle multiple projects, adapt to change, and balance business needs with financial integrity and control

Benefits
