Job DescriptionVisa Acceptance Solutions is expanding its commercial team in Europe, growing its footprint in the region providing merchants and payment providers with the solutions needed to accelerate their business through state-of-the-art payment technology.
This sales position focuses on identification and generation of new business opportunities across the South Eastern (SE) Europe region (Spain, Portugal, selling Visa Acceptance to strategically important Enterprise level accounts. The role includes managing individual accounts and personal sales performance as well as leading teams of sales professionals, setting strategic direction and begin accountable for regional sales targets.
This is a specialist sales leadership role that requires a high degree of commercial acumen, business maturity and self-motivation. A proven track record in sales with qualified success in accretive revenue strategies, including pipeline conversion , enhanced time to revenue, strong territory planning, and generating GTM strategies. Fluent English is a must. Fluency in any of the SE region languages desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Drive net new client acquisitions and the growth of clients through selling of the core value proposition of the Acceptance Solutions technology stack and its commercial value
- Develop, grow and execute against a pipeline of new opportunities within the digital commerce landscape for clients across key markets and segments
- Meet quarterly sales commits on deal closure through signing net new clients and cross selling on existing clients.
- Drive deep client engagement and growth of new products & services through C-Suite level partnership with the client
- Execute consistently specific sales methodology for accelerated deal closure
- Accountable to meeting annual assigned quota for net new bookings and revenue
- Develop robust partnerships with internal cross functional stakeholders to drive key deals to closure
- Identify key digital partners to consume Acceptance Solutions services for growth in new emerging segments
- Understand and use the broader Visa assets to support deal advancement with key clients
- Accountable not only for personal KPIs but also for achieving team and regional booking and revenue targets through strategic leadership, coaching and operational excellence.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales leadership including regional team management and multi-market responsibility.
- Experience in people management as first line manager.
- Act as a role model to the direct reports in their team.
- Experienced candidate with strong track record in driving net new client acquisitions
- Advanced payment industry knowledge.
- C level network in payments across the South East Europe, especially in Spain, Portugal and Italy.
- Demonstrable experience of attaining/achieving target let quotas for bookings (AANR) and revenue attainment.
- Experience of deploying a sales methodology to accelerate deal closure through a value based selling approach.
- Demonstratable ability to partner with peers & seniors in other functional areas (e.g., marketing, analytics, risk, innovation, product management) and across global regional teams to execute projects in ways that leverage the breadth and depth of Visa's resources.
- Demonstratable ability to consult and work closely with a client's C-level executives to present Visa’s strategic vision and negotiate effectively on behalf of the company
- Ability to work independently within a complex and competitive environment, to drive rigorous, fact-based recommendations to stakeholders and to juggle multiple initiatives at once.
- Ability to work within a highly matrixed environment to drive sales opportunities forward through a solution focused, client first mindset.
- Strong sales financial acumen related to deal structures and value to execution to the partner ecosystem.
- Experience of managing multiple internal stake holders to deliver commercial goals.
