Digital UI Designer (Maternity Cover, 12 months)

Do you enjoy designing engaging and intuitive digital environments? Do you thrive in a collaborative environment where your creativity and attention to detail can shine? GN Hearing is looking for a skilled Digital UI Designer to join our UX/UI team for a 12-month maternity cover.

In the role of Digital UI Designer in the Digital UX & UI team, you will contribute to our purpose of Bringing People Closer. You will work closely with UX designers, developers, and stakeholders to craft intuitive, accessible, and visually compelling user interfaces that elevate the overall customer journey.

The team you will be part of:

You will join a small but effective UX/UI team under the Digital Customer Solutions & E-Commerce function. Our team culture is collaborative, supportive, and focused on continuous improvement. We value creativity, attention to detail, and accountability. Together, we work towards creating seamless and delightful digital experiences for hearing care professionals and end-users across our global platforms.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:

• Design user interfaces for web, focusing on layout, typography, color, and visual hierarchy.

• Translate wireframes and UX concepts into high-fidelity UI mockups and component designs.

• Collaborate with UX designers, frontend developers, and product owners to bring designs to life.

• Maintain and contribute to our design system to ensure consistency and scalability.

To perform well in the role, we imagine that you:

• Have a background in UI design

• Bring a wealth of UI design knowledge, as evidenced by a portfolio that illustrates notable visual design talent and careful attention to detail

• Are proficient in Figma

• Are familiar with responsive design, accessibility best practices, and working within brand guidelines

• Have great collaboration skills and attention to detail

• Have worked with design systems

• Enjoy solving problems creatively and iterating based on feedback.

• Are structured, forward-thinking, and take pride in following through on their tasks.
