Lead Software Engineer - IBM mainframe
About the Role
We invite applications from skilled Mainframe Assembler Engineers to oversee the maintenance and ongoing development of the PiNet Batch solution-a vital peer-to-peer file transfer system integral to data centers within the Danish financial sector. This solution underpins clearing and payment services and operates solely on IBM mainframe platforms.
Responsibilities
* Maintain and enhance the PiNet Batch client software and codebase.
* Implement and validate modifications in Assembler code.
* Deliver support and comprehensive documentation for sector participants
* Facilitate the annual exchange of cryptographic keys (DKMS).
* Conduct DBA tasks related to DBIO and PiNet Batch.
* Coordinate sector-wide activities and address risks associated with legacy systems.
* Aid across other mainframe areas - support and development.
Qualifications
* Extensive experience with IBM mainframe environments (ISPF/TSO, JES).
* Advanced proficiency in Assembler programming, particularly in maintaining Panels and Batch processes.
* In-depth knowledge of COBOL programming.
* Familiarity with REXX and the interface between Batch and transport layers.
* Proven experience with cryptographic key procedures and security protocols.
* Proficiency with ConnectDirect or IBM Sterling Integrator.
* Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
