The Role

We are the world market leader for reusable packaging containers (RPCs) for fresh food and are constantly optimizing our products.

We help make the food supply cycle for the population more sustainable. With our RPCs, safety for food transport is improved, there is less waste of food and at the same time the lifespan of the products increases. Through our products and the need for less packaging materials we reduce the carbon footprint.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supplier Strategy Development – Develop and implement supplier management strategies aligned with business objectives and market trends.
  • Negotiation & Cost Optimization – Lead contract negotiations, drive cost-optimization initiatives, and manage supplier-related risks.
  • Performance Management – Define supplier KPIs, conduct regular performance evaluations, and implement continuous improvement programs.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment – Collaborate with Product and Operations teams to ensure supply chain readiness for new product launches and service enhancements.
  • Team Leadership – Lead and develop a high-performing supplier management team focused on operational excellence and talent growth.
  • Compliance & Sustainability – Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and corporate sustainability objectives.
  • Executive Stakeholder Engagement – Represent supplier management in executive-level discussions, providing strategic insights and recommendations.

We expect:

  • Educational Background – Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive Experience – Progressive experience in supplier or vendor management, ideally within IoT, technology, or logistics sectors.
  • Leadership Strength – Proven ability to lead supplier portfolios and high-performing teams in dynamic, growth-oriented environments.
  • Procurement & Contract Expertise – Deep knowledge of procurement strategies, contract law, negotiation techniques, and supplier performance frameworks.
  • Financial & Analytical Acumen – Strong ability to drive cost savings, optimize budgets, and deliver measurable value.
  • Technical & Industry Know-How – Advanced understanding of supply chain technologies, IoT hardware, and procurement systems.
  • Strategic & Change-Driven Mindset – Skilled in market analysis, continuous improvement, and change management.
  • Communication & Languages – Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; fluent in English, with German or Spanish as a plus.
