Digital PR Executive Role
This role will suit those with a clear passion for sports and keeping up to date with the latest trending topics.
You’ll be building and maintaining relationships with global publications and broadcasters. Supplying journalists, bloggers and presenters with the latest betting insight on events.
All aspects of this role will demand a high level of written English, from writing articles to sending press releases.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with journalists, website owners, broadcasters and bloggers
- Harness oddschecker’s betting data to create compelling press releases which either create the story for the receiver or help add to their current article
- Work with the SEO team to identify key targets, and report on the impact of performance
- Create and add to database of global connections
- Report to key stakeholders on the impact of digital link building, including versus defined targets
What you’ll be doing day-by-day
- Creation and sending out of press releases
- Analyse both oddschecker and WhoScored data to create engaging press releases
- Establish relationships with new journalists, bloggers and broadcasters
- Updating and maintaining UK workbooks to track performance, and analyse against targets
- Create content around trending topics for owned and operated websites, to use as both link targets and traffic drivers
- Communicate weekly/monthly results and ongoing project progress
- Keeping up to date with new PR developments and driving adoption within the business
- Use PR tools to help further optimize processes and efficiency
- Build brand awareness by acquiring links/brand mentions in large global publications
- Use SEO and PR tools to identify opportunities, streamline work and report on performance
- Take part in ideation sessions to develop campaigns which will capture media attention
