About the role

As the Digital Performance Manager, this role is pivotal in driving relevant top-of-funnel traffic with a focus on maximizing conversion and providing powerful analysis and insights that support the development, implementation, and management of the omnichannel paid media strategy across Amazon, Zalando, and Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) platforms within the EMEA region across relevant brands. Reporting to the Senior Director of Online Sales, and working closely with the Associate Director of eCommerce and the Associate Director of eTail Sales, the primary objective is to assist in achieving a step change in overall Online business share by creating optimized cross-channel paid media strategies. This will include utilizing media platforms such as Amazon Advertising, Google, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, and Bing. Specific responsibilities include the creation of relevant reporting (incl. dashboards), bespoke analysis, and optimization projects with key digital partners. This role will also be responsible for managing and reporting on the overall cross-channel budget and management of received invoices.

What you’ll do in the role

  • Overall Management and Delivery of Performance Marketing: Oversee strategy, execution and performance of paid marketing initiatives across the defined Online Sales channels.
  • Omni-channel view: For the brands available on two or more platforms, develop and own Online omni-channel Paid Media strategies (incl. brand/platform specific ROAS targets) together with the channel owners and central marketing teams. Ensure best possible Paid Media budget allocation.
  • Drive DTC Traffic and New Customer Acquisition: Drive traffic to the relevant DTC brands' websites using paid marketing channels with a focus on acquiring new customers.
  • Maximize share of search (SoS) and media CVR/ROAS on eTail platforms: Develop and deploy channel specific paid media strategy/tactics to maximize paid media performance on the relevant eTail platforms.
  • DTC Business Performance: Assist in the development and ensure excellent performance of the Ecommerce business by working with key stakeholders and external digital agencies.
  • Industry expertise: Ensure that we are at the forefront of new paid activity trends and that we are at the forefront of latest technology, platforms and paid media techniques.
  • Agency/partner management: Own the relationship with our external digital partners, always ensuring that they perform according to expectations. Proactively investigate new agency partners when/if necessary.
  • Campaign Management: Prepare and brief new campaigns to external digital partners, ensuring all digital assets are provided for successful campaign execution.
  • Sales Target Achievement: Assist in achieving total Online and platform specific sales targets on a seasonal and annual basis and identify additional stretch initiatives.
  • Paid Media Intelligence and Analytics: Own the paid media intelligence and analytics for the Online team, providing insights for effective planning and competitor benchmarking.
  • Consumer Analysis: Analyze the consumer base, including demographics and purchasing behavior, monitoring trends, and identifying insights for future sales growth.
  • Media KPIs: Own and report all relevant Paid Media KPIs across relevant channels.
  • Manage & collaborate with the channel heads and online director on forecasting/planning the Online paid media budget and relevant reporting.
  • Manage the paid media budget effectively.
  • Manage agency/ media specific budgets incl raising of POs.
  • Apportion budget to paid activity considering current campaign effectiveness, acquisition strategy, country strategy and overall DTC strategy for UK & International Markets.
  • Work with the channel heads and Online Director on, forecast paid performance for the next 3 financial years and propose budget accordingly.

What will help you do the job well

Essential:

  • 7+ Years of Experience in a Performance marketing position within a similar industry and managing a comparable budget.
  • Deep understanding of Paid routes to market, Google/Microsoft/Meta and Amazon campaign types, requirements, and reporting
  • Previous experience in working with partner agencies
  • Extremely number literate
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written), French a plus.
