ROLENexus Marketing is launching our Marketing Summer Start Class — an exciting opportunity to join our growing team! We're hiring 3–6 individuals into full-time roles through a 60-day, full-time, paid training program designed to build core marketing skills and set you up for a long-term career in one of three tracks: Client Marketing Operations, Client Publishing, or HubSpot.
You don't need a marketing background to apply. What matters most is a genuine curiosity about marketing and a desire to grow — whether you see yourself as someone who loves talking to people and building relationships, or someone who's energized by data, analysis, and problem-solving.
This program provides a comprehensive, paid training experience along with a clear, structured transition into a full-time position upon completion. Participants who successfully complete the program move directly into a full-time role, equipped with the hands-on experience and mentorship needed to thrive from day one.
WHICH PATH IS RIGHT FOR YOU?We're looking for two kinds of people, and the program is built to channel each toward the right long-term role.
If you're a communicator and relationship-builder, you may be a great fit for our Client Publishing track. This role is primarily a speaking and engagement role: you'll talk with businesses across the mission-driven sector, work with them to identify win-win marketing opportunities, onboard them into the Nexus partnership network, and keep them satisfied by delivering a great partner experience.
If you're an analyst or a data-minded problem solver, you may be a better fit for Client Marketing Operations or our HubSpot practice. These roles reward curiosity, attention to detail, and a desire to become an expert in your craft.
Either way, the goal is the same: find work you're excited about and build real skills that compound over time.
THE THREE TRACKSClient Marketing Operations Specialist Support our account managers and become an expert in the mechanics of modern marketing. You'll learn SEO and GEO (generative engine optimization) analysis, develop deep expertise in marketing analytics, and join client calls in a supporting role. This is an ideal track for detail-oriented people who want to understand how marketing actually drives results.
Client Publishing Coordinator Play a key role in our partnerships program. You'll talk with businesses in the mission-driven sector, work with them to find win-win marketing opportunities, and onboard them into the Nexus network. Your goal is to bring great partners in and keep them happy through an excellent partner experience. This is a speaking- and engagement-heavy role for natural communicators.
HubSpot Specialist Join our growing HubSpot practice, where you'll help manage HubSpot instances for a variety of businesses that serve the mission-driven sector. Existing HubSpot knowledge is a nice-to-have, but not required — we'll teach you. This role blends technical work with client interaction.

There are a few traits unique to our business that individuals should consider before applying.
You must love the idea of giving back to the community and nonprofits. There are thousands of jobs. If being involved in the success of nonprofits is something you're truly passionate about, this could be a great role.
You must be extremely comfortable with change. As a small growing company, decisions can be made over a weekend and fully implemented by early the next week. Whether that's new systems, new processes, or new approaches, we look for individuals who can adapt and thrive.
You must believe that the best contributors should get better rewards. As a company, we believe in paying people based on the value they generate at the business.
You must be willing to disagree and commit. As a growing business, there will be lots of decisions that get made and changes that occur during your time at the company. Some of which you'll agree with and some you won't, we strongly believe that the best team members have the ability to disagree and commit (i.e., going with a decision after it has been made regardless of whether or not you agree).
You must believe the status quo is unacceptable. As a growing company and as individuals, we believe the status quo is unacceptable. Everyone should be relentless in striving to be the best version of themselves and figure out ways to create more value at the company, enhance our client's results, and grow professionally. The question should always be "How can I be better" rather than "How can expectations be adjusted".
