Cox Communications is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist II to manage Residential merchandising across the digital ecosystem to drive new customer acquisition and create relevant digital destinations for marketing campaigns to maximize mid-funnel conversion. This role will report to the Senior Manager of Digital Acquisition and will partner with cross-functional teams across marketing, including Marketing Strategy, Brand, Media, Consumer Product Marketing, etc. This role will also support the Senior Manager of Third Party Digital Sales & Marketing to drive marketing cohesion across affiliate partners.
What You'll Do
- Manage positioning of the Cox Communications Residential brand and merchandising of products/services across the digital ecosystem, including cox.com, chat/chatbot, third party digital affiliates, etc.
- Develop cox.com destination experiences for mass market and targeted marketing campaigns to drive mid-funnel conversion.
- Partner with SEO team to ensure all new content is optimized toward maximizing organic search traffic volumes and quality/relevancy.
- Support Third Party Digital to ensure marketing accuracy and relevancy across digital affiliate marketing partners and maximize brand awareness and competitiveness.
- Analyze reporting for personalized community pages and present performance insights to leadership.
- Drive 100% accuracy of content and adherence to brand and business objectives as well as to regulatory and privacy guidelines, in close partner with internal Marketing Strategy, Brand, Consumer Product Marketing, Media, and Legal teams.
- Facilitate day-to-day operations within the team, including QA, creative vetting, Legal reviews, etc.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging digital marketing technologies to inform strategic decision-making and maintain a competitive edge.
- Identify and propose process improvements to drive efficient operations.
- Report weekly status updates and escalate project risks to manager.
- Contribute to a positive team culture by actively participating in team meetings, regularly working in the office, sharing insights and ideas, and supporting team members as needed.

Who You Are
Minimum
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 2 years of experience in a related field with at least one year in a Digital capacity. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 1 year of related experience or 4 years' experience in a related field.
Preferred
- Familiarity with digital marketing concepts and techniques, including online merchandising, UX/Design, SEO, and conversion rate optimization; plus, a passion to continuously learn and grow in the field
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and autonomously as needed
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence stakeholders
- Proactive, self-motivated mindset with a willingness to take initiative and drive results
- Possess basic creative and copywriting skills, with Photoshop experience preferred
- Analytical mindset with ability to identify trends/opportunities in reporting and make data-driven decisions; Adobe Analytics experience preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
- Sales and/or marketing experience with focus on site and offer merchandising
- Familiarity with Cox residential markets and service marketing
- Strong sales stimulation, merchandising and project management skills required
- Perform at optimal levels with little guidance
- Working knowledge of modern digital technologies, such as content management systems, targeting and web analytics platforms
- Adobe Marketing Cloud experience (including Adobe Analytics) desired
- Experience and understanding of online marketing tactics and creative development across all device types (handheld mobile devices, tablets, desktop/laptop, iOS, etc.)
- Working knowledge of digital KPIs and success measurements (.com metrics, paid search, digital display, remarketing, video pre-roll/broadband tv, paid social media)
USD 58,400.00 - 87,600.00 per year
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $58,400.00 - $87,600.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
Benefits:
The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members.
