The main task for this role is to provide content coordination support to Elsevier’s Content Development Specialist in their engagements with SME, vendors, and other internal/external stakeholders.
Support includes tasks such as, but not limited to:
Ensuring request is complete and all necessary information has been provided
Offer immediate administrative and developmental assistance to the Acquisition Editor and Editorial Product Manager.
Aid in Conference Prospecting tasks for the Acquisition Editor and Content Strategist.
Assist in the Review and Survey process for the Content Strategist and Content Development Strategist.
Support the project commissioning process (Project Set Up).
Provide administrative and developmental support as needed.
Help with author and market support during publication and post-publication stages.
Handle author queries and Clinical Key monthly report tasks on an Adhoc basis.
Provide clinical support (welcome letter, query handling, long reminder, and perm log report) for the Content Development Strategist.
Quality Analysis
Uphold the accuracy, thoroughness, and timeliness of all individual and team deliverables by adhering to best practices, policies, and procedures.
Project management
Ensure timely publication of services, contents, and products while maintaining high quality standards.
Maintain clear and effective communication with counterparts and third-party providers, offering knowledgeable information on books, contents, and services in production.
Collaborate with others to enhance personal and team performance and support team decisions.
Troubleshoot issues and facilitate the use of the ELSA tool.
Conduct root cause analysis and collaborate on action plans with team members.
Work with EPM, AE, and DE to drive results.
Fulfill additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in any field
1–2 years of BPO, shared services, or related experience preferred
Fresh graduates may also be considered based on communication skills and overall potential
Proficiency with standard computer applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet applications)
Excellent English communication skills (both oral and written)
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines
Flexible and adaptable to changing business requirements, hybrid/onsite setups, and rotating work schedules
Ability to quickly learn and apply enterprise AI tools and technologies to support technical workflows and business objectives
