We’re seeking someone to join our team as a Product Owner

Wealth Management (WM) Platforms manages industry-leading platforms, across all WM channels and client segments, to provide a unified digital experience, unlock growth, and deliver efficiencies for Advisors, Clients, and Institutions. WM Platforms consists of ten sub-teams including: Field Experience & Platforms, Digital Client Experience & Platforms, Workplace Platforms, Automation & Workflow, Digital Trading & Investing, Generative AI UX Design & Research, Strategy & Execution, WM Platforms Risk and the Chief Operating Office.
The Digital Client Experience & Platforms team is responsible for all aspects of the digital client experience with focus on self-directed bank, brokerage, and advised accounts. The team consists of Mobile, Retail Web and Bank Platforms, Core Financials & Portfolio Analytics, Digital Advice & Transactions, and Account Opening teams.
The Client Financials & Portfolio Analytics team supports and builds the key financials experiences for advised and self-directed clients across Morgan Stanley and E*TRADE. The team is focused on a multi-year development plan to build a best-in-class client platform with rich feature sets that can satisfy a wide variety of client needs. The Product Owner will be a vital part of a dynamic team responsible for delivering the cutting-edge digital client-facing experience across all digital platforms, including Morgan Stanley Online/Mobile, Shareworks and E*TRADE.  
What you’ll do in the role:
The Client Financials team is seeking a high-performing Product Owner, who be responsible for the maintenance and on-going success of the financials pages for advised clients. This person will work closely with the squad to deliver key product enhancements for this client segment, while also maintaining the backlog, helping to drive priorities, and providing analysis for the features this client segment will require for the new unified platform that will be used by both Morgan Stanley and E*TRADE clients.
The product owner will:

  • Contribute to all aspects of these initiatives, from meetings with stakeholders, to writing requirements, to delivering the technology products

  • Collaborate closely with technology, business, and UX partners

  • Engage in end-user research, data analysis, requirements writing, and design of new products

  • Assist with testing strategies, end user testing, and test plan execution

  • Present to senior management and key stakeholders

  • Present project updates and analyses to executive management and stakeholder

  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI to enhance delivery and processes

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Experience working as digital product manager, business analyst or equivalent within an agile/scrum development process

  • Proficient at analyzing, documenting, and communicating product and software requirements

  • Experience collaborating with UI/UX designers and developers to deliver client-friendly products and user experiences

  • Understanding and knowledge of web and mobile technologies

  • Strong communication skills with ability to interact with a variety of stakeholders

  • Efficient at managing multiple projects and initiatives concurrently under deadline constraints

  • Analytical and data-driven with ability to drive outcomes

  • Knowledge or exposure to wealth management and online brokerage/banking strongly preferred
