Job Description
Reporting to our Analytics Director, you will create impact within our Analytics Team, in a newly consolidated Brand Data unit. We take pride in our work with large international clients, strong presence in South Africa, and industry-leading analytics projects.
You'll contribute to the delivery of advanced digital measurement solutions, ensuring that our clients' needs are translated into precise, scalable tagging and data strategies. You will work at the forefront of analytics innovation, collaborating across teams to improve data quality and insight generation.

Your primary responsibilities will include:
Translate clients' needs and their business requirements into measurement frameworks, dashboards, and actionable insights.
Manage and maintain GA4 implementations, including event tracking, conversion set-up, reporting, analysis, and ongoing data quality assurance.
Design, implement and troubleshoot tracking solutions using Google Tag Manager (GTM) and data layers to ensure accurate and scalable measurement.
Configure and optimise Consent Mode and Enhanced Conversions to support privacy compliance whilst maximising measurement accuracy.
Implement and maintain enhanced e-commerce tracking to measure customer journeys, product interactions and revenue performance.
Go beyond basic reporting to build a compelling narrative from data to drive strategic client action.
Qualifications
Over 2 years of experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4), including event configuration, advertising platform conversion tracking, custom reporting, and analysis.
Hands-on experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM), data layer implementation, and tracking and debugging methodologies.
You understand methods that safeguard user privacy while still enabling the collection of essential and privacy-compliant data.
You love getting to know your clients, developing long-lasting relationships and adding value to their business.
You have the ability to interpret data, identify trends and communicate actionable recommendations.
When faced with a problem, you collaborate with the appropriate people to evaluate different options and find practical solutions.
