The job

AVEVA is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Lead to architect, build, and manage our enterprise-scale release management pipelines. In this role, you will lead the DevOps strategy for our Salesforce platform, specializing in development lifecycles using Copado Source Format. You will bridge the gap between development, quality engineering, and operations to ensure rapid, secure, compliant, and automated deployments across the organization.

Key responsibilities

Pipeline & Release Management

• Platform Delivery: Lead DevOps engineering for Salesforce, driving secure, scalable, and reliable release delivery across multi-platform environments.

Technical Governance & Quality

• Standards & Tooling: Own and define global DevOps standards, tooling choices, and engineering best practices.

Collaboration & Leadership

• Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner closely with Salesforce developers and administrators to enable efficient, high-quality automated releases.

Essential requirements

Experience: 8+ years of hands-on DevOps engineering experience specifically on Salesforce platforms.
Delivery Management: 5+ years of experience managing multi-environment Salesforce delivery lifecycles in a large enterprise environment.
Copado Expertise: Hands-on experience migrating to and managing Copado Source Format.

Desired skills

Leadership: Demonstrated technical expertise, leadership, and team management skills with the ability to drive cross-functional teams to meet goals.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.

Hybrid working

We work in a hybrid way at AVEVA. Most roles are based at a local AVEVA office, with an expectation of being on-site 50% of your working hours to support collaboration and connection. Some positions are fully office-based depending on the nature of the work, and certain roles that support specific customers or markets may be remote.
