Job Description

Applications management involves overseeing the lifecycle of software applications, including deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and optimization to ensure they meet business requirements and deliver value effectively. 

Responsibilities:

• Manage environments in cloud (AWS or Azure)
• Be in charge of: Automate Build and Deployment process
• Release artifacts process
• Proactively monitor and maintain applications availability
• Act as first-line responders to application/platform issues (e.g. Application availability, performance degradation)
• Collaborate with the team and others to resolve tickets
• Release new applications and application configuration different environments
• Identify improvements and areas that can be automated

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in a relevant field
• Experience implementing Continuous Delivery flows for Java and/or .NET applications
• Experience with Public Cloud providers (AWS, Azure)
• Infrastructure as Code tools (AWS CloudFormation, Terraform)
• Configuration Management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, others)
• Scripting languages (Bash, Python, others)
• Monitoring and logging analytic tools (Grafana, ELK stack, Splunk, others)
• Good understanding of Infrastructure, Virtualization, Containers, Networking

Would be a plus:

• Docker, building and deploying containers
• Container Orchestration systems (Kubernetes)
• Understanding of Microservices Architecture principles
