We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Software Engineer (Full-Stack) to join our team at Mixbook Moldova, where you'll have the opportunity to make a difference in the world of creativity and human connection. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will collaborate closely with senior engineers and product owners to design, implement, and deploy innovative systems that scale with our growing business and technical needs. Your insights on code architecture and building developer-friendly APIs will be highly valued.

We are seeking candidates based in Moldova, where a hybrid work model is available at our office in central Chisinau.
What You’ll Do
- Work closely with product owners to design, implement, and deploy systems that support our growing technical needs.
- Scale our product using modern technologies such as React, TypeScript, Ruby on Rails, and AWS.
- Contribute to system design, architecture, and code reviews, ensuring high-quality, scalable solutions.
- Spend 75% of your time coding, with the rest dedicated to team collaboration and technical decision-making.
- Foster strong collaboration within a cross-functional team, including marketing, operations, design, and product management.
- Actively engage in team development initiatives, training sessions, and events to enhance overall team growth and knowledge-sharing.
What You’ll Need
- 5+ years of web development experience
- Proficiency in both back-end and front-end programming languages and frameworks.
- Experience with React or Ruby on Rails is a strong plus.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (ideally, AWS)
- Previous exposure to back-end databases would be a plus
- Knowledge of writing a variety of automated tests
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools
- Opinions on code architecture and building developer-friendly APIs
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Intermediate English speaking skills, level B2 or greater
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or another related college degree
