The Opportunity:
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our Infrastructure Team supporting mission-focused development and operational environments. This hands-on role focuses on maintaining, automating, and improving infrastructure and deployment capabilities while working with development, infrastructure, network, and cybersecurity teams.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, administer, and maintain RHEL-based systems supporting development and operational environments.
- Develop automation and configuration management solutions using Ansible, Bash, and/or Python to streamline system administration and deployments.
- Build, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and Jenkins, including runners and agents.
- Deploy and support containerized applications and environments using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and related technologies.
- Diagnose and resolve issues across operating systems, networking, applications, and deployment environments.
- Support DevSecOps processes, including automated testing, security scanning, vulnerability remediation, and integration of security controls.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for system configurations, installation procedures, troubleshooting, and deployment workflows.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline, with 2–4 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be a US Citizen, and able to obtain/maintain a TS level clearance.
- Experience administering and troubleshooting Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
- Understanding of networking fundamentals, including routing, VLANs, DNS, and DHCP.
- Experience with configuration management and automation using Ansible and Bash and/or Python.
- Experience with CI/CD concepts and tools such as GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms.
- Working knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of DevOps and DevSecOps principles and secure software deployment practices.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Experience supporting DoD, federal government, or other security-focused environments.
- Familiarity with technologies such as RKE2, Helm, Traefik, and Longhorn.
