About The Job
We’re looking for DevOps Engineer who can participate in the development of the Unlimit India Team. Automation of cloud provisioning, as well as design, implementation, and deployment scalable, multi-tenant micro-services environments.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to company goals and objectives by improving products and services time to market, security, scalability, reliability, and cost effectiveness
- Work in functional team, and cross-functional project workgroups in cooperation with architecture, development & QA teams members
- Design, provision, and operate development & testing environments for multiple products & teams
- Support products lifecycle by designing, implementing and supporting build/publish/delivery pipelines and automation
- Perform other duties of a similar nature or level.
Requirements
- BS/BA in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
- Experience in service and systems design, with hands-on configuration experience.
- Motivated self-starter, creative thinker, with good written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work in a multi-site project environment.
- Experience in full lifecycle application development environments using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong expertise in cloud provisioning, especially with AWS, as well as familiarity with Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud.
- In-depth knowledge of AWS services and infrastructure, with a focus on automation using Terraform and Ansible.
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer certification.
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, with a strong ability to create and maintain automation scripts.
- Hands-on experience with configuration management tools like Ansible.
- Strong proficiency in containerization and clustering technologies, especially Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience with GitOps practices and tools.
- Experience with cloud service monitoring, logging, and analytics.
- Familiarity with MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch, Kafka, and Big Data management.
- Ability to read, maintain, and debug shell scripts (e.g., Perl, ksh, sh).
- Willingness and ability to plan and perform tasks before the deadline.
- Ability to provide technical training to end users and other IT staff.
- Ambition to learn new systems, procedures, and techniques in a short period of time.
- Ability to work independently or within an existing team of IT professionals.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of English.
- Self-starter able to work with minimal supervision.
