As a DevOps Engineer for esBill, you’ll make a tangible impact on the development and operation of our application. Our DevOps team includes colleagues in Switzerland, our DevOps Center in Rotterdam, and specialists from our external partner Adesso. Your Role
- You develop and operate esBill, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and maintainability.
- You maintain an end-to-end view of the entire process — from development to operations.
- You implement and document technical solutions around esBill.
- You collaborate across locations with teammates in Switzerland, Rotterdam, and with our external partner Adesso.
Your Skills & Experience
- Degree (ETH/University/University of Applied Sciences/Technical College) in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience with relational databases, e.g., PostgreSQL.
- Several years of DevOps experience, ideally with Java.
- Familiarity with hybrid infrastructure environments.
- A conceptual thinker, calm even in dynamic or demanding situations.
- Committed, curious, and eager to learn, with a strong focus on quality.
- Enjoys teamwork and communicates clearly and openly.
- Willingness to work outside regular hours and participate in on-call rotations.
- Good English language skills.
