The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. We are looking for a motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will help build, automate, and support the infrastructure and pipelines that enable our software development lifecycle, working in a collaborative, global environment. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- CI/CD & Automation: Analyze, design, build, test, and implement CI/CD pipelines, automation scripts, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) to support application delivery.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Set up, configure, and maintain cloud-based environments on platforms like Citi's on-premise Elastic Cloud (ECS) and public cloud providers, ensuring they are scalable and resilient.
- System Reliability & Support: Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues, perform impact and root cause analysis (RCA), and work with development teams to restore services and ensure system stability.
- Collaboration & Support: Partner with global development teams to understand infrastructure needs, consult on deployment strategies, and provide solutions to streamline the development lifecycle.
- Process Automation & Optimization: Identify and automate manual operational tasks, help define and enforce best practices for CI/CD, and continuously improve deployment processes for efficiency and reliability.
- Compliance & Security: Ensure all infrastructure and deployment pipelines adhere to Citi's policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements, applying sound risk management practices.
- Project Management: Create simplified project plans, perform impact analyses, solve/work high impact problems/projects, and provide resolution to restore services.
- Issue Management: Provide Root Cause Analysis (RCA) post restoration of service.
- Leadership: Performs SME role and has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.

- Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
- Experience with the software development lifecycle and CI/CD concepts.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies (e.g., ECS, AWS, GCP, Azure) and infrastructure-as-code principles.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for troubleshooting system and infrastructure issues.
- Ability to operate with a degree of independence and work effectively in a team environment.
- A foundational understanding of risk assessment, security, and compliance in a business context.

- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
