Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise underground development crews to achieve cycle targets and maintain safe work practices.
- Coordinate drilling, blasting, mucking, and ground support installation according to mine plans.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Monitor equipment use and conduct inspections to maintain operational readiness.
- Communicate daily plans and progress to management and crews.
- Support training and development of team members.
Qualifications:
- Underground Hard Rock Mining Common Core with Supervisory Modules.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience supervising underground development mining.
- Strong knowledge of high-speed lateral, incline, and decline development procedures.
- Familiarity with mechanized equipment (e.g., Jumbo's, Mechanized Bolters, X-lifts, jackleg, stoper, etc.).
- Outstanding safety record and leadership ability.
