The Role

As an Engineering Support Specialist I at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of optical and electrical systems and equipment.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Conduct inspections of parts and materials in accordance with Purchase Orders (PO) and engineering drawings to ensure compliance with established quality standards.

· Review and validate deliverable documentation received from suppliers for completeness and accuracy.

· Perform thorough inspections of mechanical parts, chemicals, and Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs) to ensure adherence to specifications.

· Maintain familiarity with ESD programs to uphold product safety and integrity throughout handling processes

· Store functions, including inventory Management, kitting, accurate tracking, organization of materials

· Assist in the receiving functions, including executing SAP transactions, maintain optimal inventory levels

· Run cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.

· Generate and analyze reports on expired materials to mitigate waste, quarantine obsolete material and optimize inventory

· Provide technical support to the engineering team.


The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP clearance.

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

· Technical diploma or degree in a relevant program from an accredited college or university

· 6+ years of experience in quality control or quality assurance or equivalent

· Strong knowledge of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools

· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Management, or a related field

· Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and global team environment

· Continuous improvement mindset and ability to drive change

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results

· Familiar with ESD program

The annual base salary range for this position is $62,000 - $85,000 in Cambridge, Ontario. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
