In this role, you’ll drive innovation, enhance product performance, and support the development of next generation solutions.
What You’ll Do
Develop technical drawings for mechanical metal parts, sheet metal components, and semi‑finished plastic products.
Create and assemble 3D models using engineering tools and perform FEM analysis.
Size electric and gas convection/steam heating systems, steam generators, and recirculating wash systems.
Produce DXF files for CAM production.
Manage internal and external samples of semi‑finished components in collaboration with the Purchasing team.
Draft initial BOMs and estimate direct production costs.
Oversee prototype assembly, conduct performance and thermodynamic testing, and support validation activities.
Collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure alignment on specifications, quality, and project milestones.
Interpret the Voice of the Customer, ensuring product requirements translate into high‑quality solutions.
Monitor technological trends, competitor innovations, and category developments.
Lead projects end‑to‑end: define specifications, manage timelines, coordinate suppliers, monitor budgets, support lab testing, and ensure product certification.
What You Bring
University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related technical field.
5+ years of experience in complex mechanical design for ovens or similar products within mid‑ or large‑sized companies.
Excellent command of technical drawing standards (EN ISO 128‑1:2020), including views, sections, grades, and machining tolerances.
Solid knowledge of welded metal fabrication techniques (TIG/MIG/EPP).
Experience with CAD, CAE, FEM, and ideally SolidEdge; simulation tools are a plus.
Familiarity with design & quality methodologies: QFD, FMEA, DFMA, process capability, VAVE, and cost‑containment practices.
Hands‑on approach and strong orientation toward process improvement.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
