About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Software Engineer with strong expertise in AWS, NodeJS, and TypeScript to build and maintain scalable, high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in microservices architecture, serverless technologies, and cloud-native development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain code following software development best practices
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and other code quality initiatives
- Build scalable, high-volume asynchronous and synchronous REST services using microservices architecture
- Design, develop, and deliver software solutions using AWS, Java, and Spring Boot
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, testing, and production environments
- Collaborate closely with Software Engineers and Quality Engineers in team-based development efforts
- Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality software
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of professional software development experience
- Proven experience building scalable, high-volume applications
- Hands-on experience with NodeJS and TypeScript
- Strong experience with AWS cloud services, including:
Lambda, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, Kinesis, S3, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, API Gateway, CloudFormation - Experience developing serverless applications (Lambda, Step Functions)
- Experience with NoSQL and relational databases
- Strong troubleshooting and production support experience
- Experience with monitoring tools like Splunk and Datadog
- Familiarity with development tools such as VS Code
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of Event-Driven Architecture
- Experience with Java and Spring Boot
- Experience deploying applications on AWS EKS clusters
- Experience with GitHub Actions
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation testing
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
