The Tools and Automation team is responsible for building tools across Google Operations business using all internal technologies across Google ecosystem. This is a very unique team which not only builds smart solutions but also influences other engineering solutions to meet the operations team's needs. As a Tech Process Manager - Tools and Automation, you will be responsible to manage a team of technical skilled individuals who would build and implement various automation solutions and tools for customers across the globe.
Position Responsibilities
Leading the Automation engineers while coaching them to deliver the right business solutions.
Design/Architecture review of the automation framework and for any new automation ideas.
Identify and determine automation opportunities to gain maximum business value and operational efficiency gain.
Build strategy on new transformation opportunities across business areas considering a long term view.
Program manage businesses automation initiatives to deliver its desired outcomes.
Own and track the automation initiatives till closure while creating visibility across the organization.
Minimum Qualifications
Excellent english communication (both written and oral), strong problem-solving approach with the ability to absorb complex technical concepts and communicate them to a non-technical audience
10+ years of technology experience and knowledge where you have been exposed to leading technology teams while coding, frontend engg, dashboards, reporting, scripting, databases, etc. and have built/executed end to end solutions.
5+ years of proven experience of leading/driving business automation products/tools using various technologies like RPA, AI/ML, GCP or any other process automation technology.
6+ years of experience in any programming languages (Javascript, Python, Java etc.)
Experience in evaluating business process automations and prioritizing them using different process frameworks like Lean, Six Sigma etc.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in building tools and automating processes using Google stack/products
Knowledge of Databases, Rest API, integration, cloud, devops
Exposure to business process automation and leading automation teams to deliver solutions for operations
