Scope:
- The QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality of Blue Yonder’s TMS products by designing, developing, and executing comprehensive testing strategies throughout the product development lifecycle.
- The role involves close collaboration with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.
- The candidate will also be responsible for mentoring junior QA team members and advocating for best practices in testing methodologies, tools, and automation frameworks.
Our Current Technical Environment:
- Software: REST API’s, Python, Java,, REST Assured, Robot automation framework
- Automation Tools: Robot Framework (Must have), Selenium
- Databases: SQL Server,
- Cloud Platforms: Azure (knowledge is a plus)
- Development Methodologies: Agile, Exploratory Testing, API Testing
What You’ll Do:
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and other test artifacts to ensure thorough and effective testing of our products.
- Collaborate with developers and vendors to identify and resolve defects throughout the development process.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
- Analyse test results, identify the root causes of defects, and track bug resolution to ensure product quality.
- Work closely with product managers and development teams to define acceptance criteria and support successful product launches.
- Participate in providing constructive feedback to improve code quality and overall product performance.
- Stay current with the latest trends and technologies in software testing to ensure the team’s methods and tools are up to date.
What We Are Looking For:
- Strong understanding of QA principles and best practices.
- Experience in designing and developing test automation frameworks (e.g., Robot automation, ResT Assured).
- Experience with API testing tools and methodologies, with a strong focus on REST APIs.
- Knowledge of SQL databases is an advantage.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially Azure, is a plus.
- Supply Chain Management domain knowledge is a plus.
