The opportunity.

Are you a technically curious, analytically minded student who wants to see how a fast-paced fintech operates from the inside — and make a real contribution while doing so? Trumid's Delivery Management team is looking for a driven Summer Intern for a 9-week placement in Summer 2026.

This is not a shadow-and-observe internship. You will own meaningful work, collaborate directly with QA, Engineering, and Product teams, and leave behind deliverables the organization continues to use. The Delivery Management function is a strategic team that works directly with senior management on the firm’s technology and organizational goals. We take a measurement-driven, statistical approach to understanding delivery health, and we invest heavily in automation to ensure smooth, consistent software delivery across all pipelines. This is a team where data, process, and technology intersect — and where analytical contributions are visible at the highest levels of the organization.

To thrive in this role, you will need both a technical aptitude and a genuine interest in financial markets. We are a bond trading platform, and understanding the business context behind the technology is essential — not optional — for effective delivery management.

About you.

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree (junior or senior year) in a STEM field — Computer Science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
  • Has completed coursework in finance or economics and can speak to concepts such as bonds, fixed income instruments, present value, and yield.
  • An interest in financial markets and technology is essential; prior fintech or trading exposure is a plus.
  • Comfortable working with structured data and analytical tools; experience with SQL, Python, Excel, or Power BI is a plus but not required.
  • Able to use AI tools (such as Claude or ChatGPT) thoughtfully — you know how to evaluate and improve output quality, not just generate it.
  • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies, or a strong appetite to learn them quickly.
  • Experience with project tracking tools such as Jira or similar platforms is advantageous.

What You’ll Do.

  • Support the Delivery Management team in analysing, automating, and improving delivery workflows across QA, Engineering, and Product pipelines.
  • Work with data from tools such as Jira, TestRail, and internal dashboards to identify patterns, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Explore and apply AI and automation tools to address real operational challenges within the delivery lifecycle.
  • Come up with ideas and prototype them. Got a spark of an idea? Build a rough version and show us. We love interns who bring concepts nobody asked for but everyone immediately wants.
  • Contribute to the development of metrics, reporting frameworks, and dashboards that provide visibility into delivery health and quality
  • Own a real problem. You'll get pointed at an actual internal workflow and given the space to figure out how AI can make it faster or smarter. Some guidance included, but you'll be driving.
  • Present work and findings to the senior management at the end of the placement.

Ideal Candidate

  • Self-directed and comfortable with ambiguity — you take ownership of a problem and drive it forward without waiting for step-by-step direction.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to translate technical findings into clear, accessible summaries for a mixed audience.
  • Collaborative and low-ego — you're as comfortable listening and learning as you are contributing your own ideas.
  • Proactive communicator: you raise blockers early, share progress regularly, and don't wait to be chased for updates.

Why Trumid?

  • Own real work with real stakes — your output will be used by the team beyond your internship.
  • Gain exposure to how a leading fintech platform plans, builds, and ships software at scale.
  • Direct mentorship from the Director of Delivery Management and hands-on collaboration with QA, Product, and Engineering.
  • Work at the cutting edge of AI application in software delivery — active exploration, not theoretical exercises.
  • Join a high-energy, collaborative team where your contribution is visible and valued from day one.
  • Build a portfolio of real deliverables: a defined methodology, working outputs, and a presentation-ready summary.
