Reporting to the DSE EMEA Director, this role supports Sales with ensuring the right price and the right offer are provided to increase sales revenue and offer mutual benefit to the customer with critical sensitivity to time. We lead all day-to-day functions of the Deal Management with operational excellence, interaction with internal partners, customers and alignment with Splunk sales policies. We gain broad insights to the commercial aspects of the business that we can translate to greater success for our Sales partners. The role will be partnered with a specific Sales Region within EMEA, leading Deal Strategy and Operations in support of one or more Sales Area Vice Presidents.
Roles and responsibilitiesWe participate in forecast calls and guide sales on the best deal structures based on your experience. Proactively engaging with sales leadership on opportunities to increase revenue through inventive deal structures as needed.
We are subject matter authority on sales processes such as Early Renewals, Order Docs, Channel Considerations, Licensing Models, Programs, Pricing, Conversion Programs (On premise to Cloud).
We develop pricing strategies together with the sales teams based on offer programs to build compelling commercial proposals for both the customer and Splunk.
We proactively identify new solutions to address sales issues and increase win rates and collaborate to train sales on new programs and ensure adoption.
We lead month end war rooms addressing ad-hoc challenges to deal structures, deal closing and booking opportunities with critical timelines.
We compose Order Documents for customers and coordinate with Legal and Revenue Recognition teams, to contract critical customised T&Cs and ensure the compliance and approvals for quotes.
Who You Are- 5-10 years of applicable experience; comfort with deadlines and working in virtual and matrix organisations.
- Enjoys finding business solutions to sophisticated challenges with opposing and changing priorities. You have consistent record of data management, data quality audit, documentation and visual presentations of results in a fast-growing software enterprise company.
- You are very articulate with demonstrated ability to interface, influence, and work with a diverse group of individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Experience with Salesforce.com reporting and administration.
