Job Summary
We are seeking a Data Scientist at our corporate offices in Salt Lake City, Utah. This is an individual contributor role within the Revenue Management and Data Science organization. This person will be assisting with executing new customer acquisition and other digital product strategies to improve website experience, paid search marketing, and call center operations. This is a high-impact and high-visibility role. Proactive communication and good collaboration with internal stakeholders are essential for success in this role.
Primary Responsibilities

Perform data analysis, interpret findings, and explain them to a business audience

Develop data pipelines to ensure data collection from various sources for analysis, reporting, and model building
-
Design and execute tests to optimize customer acquisition and other digital product strategies
-
Develop road maps for data science products with guidance from senior members of the team and communicate the road map to relevant partners
-
Document analytics systems and assigned data science projects including business objectives, data collection and analysis process, evaluated models and techniques, insights, and key metrics
Job Specifications

Proven analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.

Ability to manage large data sets, synthesize and communicate findings

Coding proficiency in SQL and Python
-
Experience with Databricks, Microsoft Azure, or other similar cloud environments is a plus.

Team player with excellent collaboration skills

Excellent communication and presentation skills
-
Highly motivated and high level of energy and enthusiasm
Education and Experience
-
A master’s or undergrad degree in mathematics, operations research, statistics, finance, economics, or other STEM degrees
-
Requires 5 years of experience in applying advanced analytics to drive business outcomes for those without a master’s degree
