Job Description

As a Data & Process Consultant, you play a key role in achieving our clients' strategic objectives by analyzing, optimizing, and implementing both business processes and data-driven solutions. You lead complex transformation projects from start to finish, bridging the gap between operations, IT, data teams, and business stakeholders. 

You understand how processes generate and consume data and how data, in turn, drives smarter processes. You combine business insight, technological expertise, and analytical thinking to design solutions that are practical, scalable, and measurable. 

Working closely with clients and internal teams, you guide initiatives from requirements analysis through implementation and performance monitoring, ensuring that process improvements are supported by robust data foundations. 

What You Will Do 

Process Excellence 

  • Apply our methodology to efficiently specify, analyze, design, and implement business processes. 

  • Independently lead projects and initiatives, providing substantive guidance to teams of professionals. 

  • Translate complex organizational structures into understandable, workable solutions and ensure smooth collaboration within projects. 

  • Develop product breakdown structures for large-scale, long-term programs (budgets ranging from €3–50 million). 

  • Model business processes using BPM tools and perform simulations and analyses for optimization. 

  • Advise clients on best practices in process design, operational excellence, and digital transformation. 

  • Provide training and support to ensure effective adoption of newly designed processes. 

Data-Driven Transformation 

  • Analyze data flows across systems to identify inefficiencies, inconsistencies, and optimization opportunities. 

  • Design data models and define data requirements aligned with business process improvements. 

  • Translate business needs into data architecture, reporting, and dashboard requirements. 

  • Perform data analysis to identify trends, performance gaps, and improvement potential. 

  • Support the implementation of data governance frameworks, ensuring data quality, ownership, and compliance. 

  • Define KPIs and performance measurement frameworks linked to optimized processes. 

  • Work with BI, analytics, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration between process design and data infrastructure. 

  • Leverage advanced analytics and automation to enable predictive and prescriptive process improvements. 

Personal & Professional Growth 

  • Actively invest in personal development and deepen expertise in both process management and data analytics. 

  • Communicate independently and confidently with clients at different organizational levels. 

  • Take ownership of (sub)projects, proactively manage expectations, and escalate when needed. 

  • Guide 1–2 analysts and coordinate their contributions within the project. 

  • Act as a culture bearer within the organization, promoting collaboration, ownership, and excellence. 

 
Contributing to Sia’s Growth 

Commercial 

  • Identify commercial opportunities within projects and share them with the responsible project manager. 

  • Contribute to proposals and client discussions related to data and process transformation. 

Knowledge 

  • Share acquired knowledge internally and contribute to thought leadership in process excellence and data-driven transformation. 

  • Support internal capability development in analytics, data governance, and digital process innovation. 

Portfolio 

  • Connect client challenges to Sia’s broader service portfolio, including digital transformation, data & AI, operational excellence, and enterprise transformation. 

Qualifications

Profile 

  • Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Data Science, Information Management, or related field. 

  • 1–3 years of experience in process consulting, data consulting, or digital transformation. 

  • Strong analytical mindset with experience in BPM, data modeling, and performance measurement. 

  • Proficient with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), SQL, or data analysis tools is a plus. 

  • You have a strong interest in data and AI-related topics, the ability to quickly build expertise in these areas, and you’re excited about helping our clients seize the opportunities they offer.

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. 

  • Fluent in Dutch, French and English (additional languages like German are a plus).
