The Batch Monitoring Analyst is a role designed for individuals looking to further their career in data engineering. This position offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data management and infrastructure, working alongside experienced team members to support the organization's data initiatives.
Position Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining and monitoring data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Support data collection and storage efforts under the supervision of senior engineers.
- Engage in training and mentorship programs to develop technical and analytical skills.
- Help ensure data accuracy and consistency through routine checks and validation.
- Work with data team members to understand project requirements and deliverables.
- Amenable to work in UP Ayala Technohub (Quezon City)
- Amenable to work on a FULL ONSITE SET-UP
- Amenable to work in any shift schedule assigned (day, mid, and night)
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related field. Relevant coursework or projects are a plus.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in batch process monitoring or batch operations.
- Strong desire to learn and grow in the field of data engineering.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Amenable to work in UP Ayala Technohub (Quezon City)
- Amenable to work on a FULL ONSITE SET-UP
- Amenable to work in any shift schedule assigned (day, mid, and night)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge with tools like Informatica OR CA Workload Automation Tool (OR alternative technologies to CAWLA – example: Control M).
- Experience in programming languages, preferably Python or SQL.
- Knowledge or exposure with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Basic understanding of SQL and database management systems.
- Knowledge or experience with ETL tools and data pipeline frameworks (e.g., Apache Airflow, Apache Spark).
- Experience with data modeling, data APIs, data integration, or Data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
