We are now looking for a Data Modeller to join our team in UPM Business HUB Poland in Wrocław.

What you will do 

  • Design and maintain logical and physical data models to support analytics and process intelligence use cases
  • Translate business and process requirements into structured, reusable, and scalable data models
  • Ensure consistency of data structures across domains, data assets, and reporting layers
  • Develop and maintain curated and publish-layer data models for analytics, BI, and process intelligence solutions as well as ensure data models are fit for purpose, high-performing, and scalable
  • Support data product development by enabling standardized and reusable datasets
  • Apply UPM data governance principles, including data ownership, stewardship, and proper documentation
  • Contribute to data definitions, metadata management, and data lineage in the data catalogue
  • Ensure data quality requirements are incorporated into data models and transformations and identify opportunities to simplify, harmonize, and improve existing data models
  • Contribute to the development of modelling standards, best practices, and ways of working and support incident analysis and resolution related to data models and data availability
     

Who youare  

  • You have a relevant academic background (e.g. data, supply chain, engineering, or similar)
  • You have experience working with data, analytics, or data-driven environments
  • You are familiar with data modelling and analytics concepts
  • You have experience with BI, analytics tools, or data platforms
  • You are structured, analytical, and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
  • You communicate effectively and collaborate well with different stakeholders
  • You are fluent in English (both written and spoken)

Additionalinformation about the position

This position offers a hybrid working model, combining remote work from home with regular on-site collaboration in Wrocław.

The position holder will report to Senior Manager, Data & Process Intelligence.
