Data Graphics Controller

Amentum is seeking a Data Graphic Controller to join our team on Andros Island, Bahamas to support the Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC) mission. The Data Graphic Controller is responsible for the collection, generation, and management of real-time track and graphic data and is accountable to the Test Operations Manager on the AUTEC project.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Manage real-time range data systems to meet test operation requirements in an efficient and successful manner.
• Review all relevant test operations’ documents such as operation directives, test plans, pre-test briefings, and unclassified and classified naval messages to ensure real-time data collection requirements, graphic displays, audio recordings, and event logging requirements will be met
• Coordinate test audio and tracking requirements with Computer Room personnel prior/during/posttest support.
• Support recorded test playback operations as required
• Attend pertinent test meetings including pre-test briefs, test specific planning meetings, and range scheduling meetings as required ISO specific test scenarios
• Ensure tracking and graphic stations in the Real-time Display Center are properly prepared and manned for range testing as required by the Operations Directive and AUTEC Schedule of Operations.
• Implement real-time changes in graphic displays as required to meet Range User interface requirements
• Maintain real-time logs of all test operations in accordance with established procedures, and oversee supplemental documentation requirements as may be required to meet Range User data requests
• Ensure all data handling meets current security requirements
• Provide technical evaluation to the duty team of any real-time problem and suggest alternatives for meeting test objectives.
• Exercise discretion and independent judgment to meet customer demands in conjunction with keeping company objectives in focus.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• 1 to 3 years of computer operating experience in a Microsoft Windows environment
• 3 years of military service or commercial experience in a technical field involving large-scale test operations; may be substituted in lieu of degree.
• BA / BS degree in Engineering, Science, Electronics, Computer Science, or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to qualify as a Data Graphic Controller in accordance with work-based learning and certification requirements.
• Use of Microsoft Outlook email and associated tools is imperative.
• Ability to grasp copious amounts of information and manage multi-tasking in a fast paced real time environment.
• Aptitude for technical reading and comprehension skills to reference and apply written instructions.
• Capacity to manage close vision work on computer screens/monitors in a low-light environment
• Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure; remain flexible and professional coping with changes in a real-time environment.
• Aptitude for tactful interaction with a wide variety of military and civilian personnel of various nationalities.
• Work independently and as a part of a team with contractor, Range User and NUWC personnel.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Must be able to walk up/down a one flight stairwell as well as board range craft and fixed/rotary wing aircraft.
• Must be able to reside in remote work location with limited medical facilities.
• Valid driver’s license and passport will be required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of AUTEC capabilities beneficial.
• Working knowledge of various tracking, acoustical, and/or communication systems as well as performance characteristics of US Navy vessels and anti-submarine warfare tactics a plus.
