Data Entry Specialist
Training is Onsite in Lexington, KY - Production is HYBRID
Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:30pm
NO WEEKENDS
Pay is $16.00 per hour
The Data Entry Associate supports insurance operations by processing customer-related transactions in a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for reviewing, validating, updating, and processing information while ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs), quality standards, regulatory requirements, and internal procedures.
The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, customer-focused, and capable of balancing multiple priorities while delivering accurate and timely results.
Essential Responsibilities
· Process insurance and customer service transactions accurately and efficiently.
· Review incoming correspondence, electronic work items, and digital documents for completeness and accuracy.
· Perform data entry, record maintenance, and transaction updates across multiple systems.
· Process account maintenance requests, enrollment transactions, beneficiary updates, address changes, and other customer-driven activities.
· Research and resolve processing exceptions, discrepancies, and incomplete transactions.
· Route work appropriately and escalate issues when required.
· Meet established productivity, accuracy, and turnaround-time standards.
· Ensure compliance with company policies, privacy requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
· Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and business partners to support operational objectives.
· Participate in training, cross-training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
· Adapt to changing business priorities and workload volumes.

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive.
