Data Engineer & Analyst for C2O

Equifax is seeking a highly motivated Data Engineer to drive our Cloud C2O (Contract to Order World) initiatives.. This role offers an exciting opportunity to directly impact contracts to order management (C2O) efficiency by collaborating with cross-functional teams to engage and develop data solutions that fuel operational excellence and business growth within our C2O ecosystem. You will transform raw data into actionable intelligence by developing impactful BigQuery-based visualizations and dashboards, empowering stakeholders with clear, data-driven insights for informed decisions and positive outcomes.

What you’ll do

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data integrations from various source systems into our Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment to support the C2O (Contract to Order World) processes.
• Architect and build optimized table structures and other necessary database objects within Google BigQuery to efficiently store and manage data critical for C2O reporting and analysis.
• Implement and continuously optimize query performance in BigQuery to ensure timely and efficient data retrieval for reporting, dashboards, and analytical purposes related to the C2O lifecycle.
• This role communicates work directly with the guidance of the C2O team to design and implement data visualizations and insights using  advanced data manipulation and analytic visualization skills
• Conduct comprehensive data analytics on C2O data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive process improvements, enhance decision-making, and support strategic initiatives.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines using ETL/ELT methodologies to transform raw C2O data into actionable information within BigQuery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Legal, Operations, etc.) to understand their data needs and translate them into effective data models and BigQuery solutions supporting the C2O process.
• Ensure data quality and integrity within the BigQuery environment for C2O related data through the implementation of validation rules and monitoring processes.
• Contribute to the development of data visualizations and dashboards leveraging BigQuery data to provide stakeholders with clear and actionable insights into the C2O world.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues within the C2O data landscape in BigQuery, ensuring data availability and accuracy.
• Stay current with best practices and emerging technologies in data integration, BigQuery optimization, and data analytics relevant to supporting the C2O function in a cloud environment.

What experience you need 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related subject.
• 2+ years of practical experience in data engineering or related fields
• 2+ years experience with cloud data platforms and data warehousing solutions (ideally GCP/BigQuery).
• 2+ Experience building and maintaining data integration pipelines
• 3+ years of working experience with Tableau Data visualization tool.
• 2+ Experience in Advanced SQL, especially with Google BigQuery (complex queries, performance tuning)
• English proficiency B2 minimum (Emmersion)
